"December 4th a star was born." Today marks the 40th birthday of one of my favorite rappers, Jay-Z. For those that didn't know about young Hov, he grew up in the streets of Marcy Projects in Brooklyn hustling, and is the place where most of his rawest emotions can be heard from in his first album Reasonable Doubt. "From bricks to Billboards, grams to Grammies" Jay-Z has got to be one of the most successful rappers today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAY-Z!
